Everyone claims that staying happy is the key to a healthy life but only a few understand how to implement it. Health is not something that you can BUY at any moment, in fact, it is something you EARN throughout your life. Leading a healthy life takes a lot, there will be so many obstacles in your way to becoming healthy. One of the most important determiners of your good health is the lifestyle you adopt. The more you live a happy and active life, the healthier you will be. To a great extent, your behavioral factors like whether you drink alcohol, smoke, or do enough workout are responsible for the quality of health you are going to get. 

These risk factors that are responsible for your bad health are definitely modifiable as it is completely on you if you want to eliminate them by changing your behavior. There will be a slew of distractions whenever you will decide to eat healthily, make healthy choices, or while going to exercise. It helps in decreasing the unhealthy triglycerides which eventually will save you from high blood pressure and health diseases. Even if you sitting in a low mood, just pick yourself up and get some exercise, it really helps in lifting up your mood.


What is the major reason for your tired and cranky day? Of course the amount of sleep you had the other night. The night you spend tossing and turning makes your entire day grumpy and affects your health to a considerable extent. Sleep deprivation is a serious issue, it can take away your mental health and puts your physical health at risk. According to health professionals, taking a sound 7 hours of sleep is imperative for our health. It is highly believed that if you are not taking a sufficient amount of sleep (less than 7 hours), it will eventually bring about negative health consequences. Everyone knows how important a healthy diet is for our body. The more calories you intake, the more weight you gain. But it does not mean that intaking calories less than required will help you stay fit, in fact, it will bring down your weight. So, what do we need to do? You need to know when and how many calories, nutrients, proteins, carbohydrates, and fat you need to consume. Your urban lifestyle that includes consuming fast foods and poor foods increases the problems for your health. Everyone needs to take a diet which has a proper amount of all the nutrients like whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and nuts. This does not only helps you to maintain a good weight but also keeps your body away from all the drastic diseases.

Use of Advanced Technology: 

With this ever-evolving world, there will be no exaggeration to say that technology has exceeded humanity. It is rightly said that every good thing comes with consequences, from one hand it gives you while from another it snatches away a lot of things. There is no denying the fact that technological advancements have helped people in improving their diets, helping with their medical compliance, and tracking their fitness efforts. But at the same time, we should not forget the negative impacts of technology on our health. The misuse of technology results in various consequences like eye strains, sleep disorders, physical inactivity, as well as a negative impact on mental health.

According to WHO, 60% of human diseases are caused by an unhealthy lifestyle. Therefore, to safeguard our precious wealth i.e. health, we should first learn how to initiate a healthy lifestyle.
