Job Description:

Role Overview:
 Ensures the day to day activities to deliver application services and support on time, on budget and to agreed requirements are being addressed by the various support teams.
 Review and be familiar with key project deliverables – high level and detailed business requirements, functional and technical requirements, architecture/ system design specification etc. across all proposed and in flight projects.
 Contractual and commercial design, development and approval for any new or uplift business, including preparation of Statements of work and proposals
 Principal SME for Project, Design and Development input across the wider Application and Enterprise Environment.
 Ensure strong client relationships are built and maintained, across both IT and the business.
 Ensure a detailed business understanding of the Applications portfolio, and the integration between the systems and business areas.
 Ensure application portfolio risks and issues are being addressed appropriately.
 Ensures all support documentation is complete and up to date for each application within the Portfolio/Channel.
 Ensure any internal/client reporting requirements are delivered on time, and to the standard required.
 Accountability for service level and delivery performance for the Application Services portfolio.
Key Skills:
 15+ years in a complex I.T environment
 Demonstrated ability leading a geographically diverse delivery team.
 Detailed understanding of the Australian Banking Industry and APRA compliance requirements
 Proven end integration knowledge of a multi-platform applications/infrastructure portfolio, with detailed operational understanding of a banking environment from an enterprise perspective.
 Strong communication skills, utilized to effectively manage a culturally diverse team.
 Detailed understanding and working experience of the Software Development Lifecycle and ITIL.
