Victoria Parade Surgery Centre (VPSC) is part of the largest day hospital company in Australia. CURA Day Hospital Group currently owns 24 leading facilities, that are utilized by over 750 Doctors, across 7 states and territories.
VPSC has 5 operating theatres utilizing state of the art equipment together with a five bed first-stage Recovery Unit and a ten recliner-chair Second Stage Recovery. We are a Day only facility covering procedures for Ophthalmic, Ear, Nose and Throat and Oculoplastic surgery for clients of all ages including children.
Located in the heart of the CBD, Melbourne, we are surrounded by leafy gardens, major hospitals with easy access to public transport and parking our facility has a long-standing reputation for excellence in patient care.
Multiple opportunities are now available to join our perioperative team for Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics, PACU or Preadmission due to our expanding lists. We are looking for RN’s/EEN’s, Full time, Part time or Casual options.
To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
AHPRA Registered Nurse with at least 2 years Post Graduate experience
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
High standard of customer service
Excellent time management skills
Demonstrated understanding of current relevant guidelines, regulations and standards
