Senior Pharmacist (Children’s Antimicrobial Management Program (ChAMP)) Salary: HSO level P3 $116,368 - $120,402 p.a. Position Profile: The Senior Pharmacist (Children’s Antimicrobial Management Program) leads the Children’s Antimicrobial Management Program (ChAMP) in collaboration with the Department of Infectious Diseases, to optimise the use of antimicrobials at Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). The role promotes safe, rational, cost effective and efficacious drug therapy by providing specialised antimicrobial stewardship services. This includes guideline, monograph and policy development, clinical rounds, teaching and research. The position also plans, implements and evaluates patient safety and quality improvement projects. The Senior Pharmacist practices as a Senior Pharmacist in accordance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia Registration Standards, the Pharmacy Board of Australia Codes and Guidelines including the Pharmacy Code of Conduct for Registered Health Practitioners and CAHS policies and guidelines.
