Job Description

As Advertising & Partnerships Coordinator you will be part of the Commercial Department and will be responsible for supporting the wider commercial team across all Pedestrian Group products and titles.The role spans all our commercial properties and partnerships including Pedestrian.TV, VICE, Refinery29, Business Insider, Openair Cinema, Gizmodo, Lifehacker and Kotaku + more. The role calls for a multidisciplinary approach, someone who can collaborate effectively with internal departments, a high attention to detail, is keen to grow and develop into a commercial/sales role. This role will see you supporting all stages of the sales cycle from brief extraction, ideation – through to bringing the campaigns to life and reporting. We’re looking for a self-starter who’s not afraid to add to our creative culture, get their hands dirty, work autonomously and LEARN HEAPS! Your primary duties will be to: Support the commercial team to deliver 100% to quarterly sales budgets.Assist with all reporting to drive commercial output.Work within Pedestrian CRM and order management system ADvendio with 100% accuracy.Build an intimate understanding of the Pedestrian Group offerings/products and their place in the industry.Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Assist with creating market leading pitches across all Pedestrian platforms (Native, Video, Podcast, Events, Activations etc.) With this, you need to understand client objectives and translate these into campaigns which deliver results. Assist with building comprehensive client proposals – including sourcing stats, assisting with copywriting, insights etc.Assist with financial reporting.Work closely with the Commercial Director re administrative duties. Requirements Unparalleled attention to detail. Entry level understanding of fundamentals of online advertising processes and technology. Active in industry trade and networking events. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong attention to detail and ability to QA own work. Tenacity, and ability to think on your feet. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team orientated and dynamic environment. Be on the pulse of trending pop culture news. Ability to think critically. Keen to grow your career into a commercial/sales role.
