The roleWe are seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to join the Business Support team. Reporting to the Administration Coordinator, your role is to conduct internal reviews of parking infringement appeals. Provide detailed responses of the decision made and complete cycle functions for the life cycle of the infringement. The role provides administrative support within the Compliance and Amenity Department and ensures a customer-focussed service is provided to all staff and members of the publicAbout youYou will have: Strong administration and customer service experience.Knowledge of the relevant legislation and prior experience reviewing parking infringement appeals is desirableDemonstrated competency in a range of computer programs (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Pathway and TRIM).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to contribute to process improvementsAbility to work as a member of a team, prioritise and plan work activities to meet team objectives What we can offerThis is a full-time permanent position.As an employee of the City of Kingston you will be part of an inclusive culture and have access to ongoing professional development and a range of employee benefits designed to promote a positive work/life balance including flexible working arrangements, wellbeing initiatives, discounted gym membership, social club events, paid parental leave, salary packaging, study/development assistance, employee assistance program (EAP) and discounted health insurance.
