The city’s award winning foreshore promenade is a 5.7km path that stretches from the breakwater along the coastline to the Hopkins River mouth. Excellent opportunity for experienced Psychologists or Registrar/intern Psychologists interested in providing mental health support to young people.South West Healthcare's (SWH) Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) works predominately in Warrnambool, Victoria and is a specialised and highly proficient team. We're seeking applications from committed and dynamic mental health professionals to join the team and provide experience, growth and development.About the rolePositions provide an opportunity for health professionals to work in a multidisciplinary team providing discipline specifics expertise in crisis assessment, and a range of evidence based interventions for children, young people and their families including but not limited to: eating disorders, mood based concerns,, early intervention for first episode psychosis and infant mental health. Service provision is recovery oriented and trauma informed utilising natural and existing community supports as required in the South West region As a Psychologist you will have the opportunity to work in an integrated role providing comprehensive psychological assessments, delivering evidence based clinical interventions, and care coordination. Extensive training and support is offered with the role including for registrar and intern psychologists provision of supervision and professional development per AHPRA requirements. What you bringAs a Psychologist you will have a sound appreciation of evidence-based contemporary child, adolescent and family mental health practices.
