We are challenging the status quo and we're excited about our future!About the roleBased in our Customer and Data Enablement Practice within IT as our Project Manager you will be involved in delivering projects at the early stages of our cloud journey as we leverage cutting edge technology. You’ll play a key role in making critical decisions to establish the foundations which will be used for years to come, contributing to our Group Data Strategy and driving the implementation initiatives. You’ll be part of a highly motivated open and transparent team working across other services and practices to lead projects from inception through to implementation. Drive delivery for our data transformation journey as we seek leverage cutting edge technology. Put in place foundations to be used for years to come.Examples of responsibilities include: Making critical decisions in a timely and effective manner taking into account strategy and being the bridge between business and domains.Coordinating and facilitating the project outcomes across multiple teams while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.Assisting with escalations, removing roadblocks and providing reporting to sponsors.Providing leadership and guidance to your team to deliver agreed business outcomes.Effective engagement and development of relationships with key technology/business stakeholders and vendors or partners relevant to your project. Managing their expectations for project deliverables through communications.Implementing an effective system for risk management and project governance.Financial management and risks and issues. About you You’ll have experience in a similar Project Management role where you have driven deliverable outcomes through effective stakeholder management and motivating teams reporting into you to deliver outcomes.You’ll be able to take ownership of a problem whilst considering both business and technology implications when making strategic decisions.You’ll have a high level of comfort making decision in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.A background working across Cloud Data Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure projects. With exposure across data migration, data analytics, enterprise data warehouse or data pipeline initiatives.Proven project management skills, you’ll be well versed in providing leadership in a DevOps & CI/CD / Cloud environment with AWS or GCP (we have both).Experience working with both Agile & Waterfall methodologies and able to apply the most suitable approach when required.Proven ability to lead projects ensuring objectives, goals, and commitments are metYou’ll have worked with Jira and Confluence as well as a range of Project Management tools.You’ll be confident in working with vendors and partners to ensure the best outcome for us.
