It is responsible for credit underwriting, documentation, structuring and ongoing portfolio management for corporate and financial institution clients. GCIB Credit acts as first line approver. ResponsibilitiesBe an active member of deal teams and engage proactively with relationship and product partnersManage and monitor a credit portfolio for macro, industry and client news, identify and escalate emerging risksAnalyse clients’ businesses, their financial statements and due diligence materialsPrepare insightful forward looking credit papers and assign risk ratingsReview and assess relevant legal documents for relevant credit productsMaintain current knowledge the bank’s strategy, capabilities and product offeringUnderstand and apply internal policy, procedures and regulatory requirementsCoach and guide analysts and associatesCompetenciesPrior credit experience in banking and finance or related fieldAbility to analyse financial statements, lead due diligence and prepare credit proposalsExperience analysing investment and sub-investment grade credit profiles and structuresSound commercial judgment and strong business acumenProactively takes initiative and demonstrates ownershipStrong written/verbal communication skillsCapability to build relationship with stakeholders within the bank and with clientsDemonstrates intellectual curiosity and is focused on continuous learning and skill buildingAppropriate tertiary qualificationsJob Band:H5Shift: Hours Per Week:38Weekly Schedule:Referral Bonus Amount:0
