In this role you will undertake the business analysis activities related to the development and implementation of Banking applications and systems including the New Payments Platform, (NPP) is an open access infrastructure for fast payments in Australia. NPP is being developed via industry collaboration to enable households, businesses and government agencies to make simply addressed payments, with near real-time funds availability to the recipient, on a 24/7 basis). This vital team role will involve extensive liaison within business and technical areas and implementation into production. Your team Banking Department provides a range of banking services to Australian Government departments and other government instrumentalities as well as a number of overseas central banks and official institutions. As part of the team you will support changes covering the scoping, requirements, estimation, triage and build processes to deliver high levels of system stability, integrity and reliability. Your background To be successful in this critical role you will possess; Experience with banking systems, business and operations highly desirable. Awareness of NPP and other banking payment and online channels. The ability to analyse efficiently and skilfully, using a variety of tools, methods and communication techniques to extract, develop, validate and document business processes. The confidence to support others within the team including Solution Designers; Developers and Testers to implement the Business Requirements. An understanding of transactional banking systems, services and operations. Agile ways of working experience and certification.
