I have an opening for a Senior backend PHP engineer who will be predominantly working across the PHP, Laravel, DevOps and AWS stack. You'll be working along side some of the most talent senior engineers and hands on with some complex projects to work on. About my client Our Software Engineers are the core of our business. As a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) our business develops software to deliver functional solutions for our customers. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building new features whilst also supporting the day-to-day maintenance of the application. Our Engineers need to be autonomous. Key Responsibilities Code in PHP to a high standard and ensure that you reduce future work by producing code that is easily read and understood.Develop new application features working with Project Teams.Tackle legacy code as part of development.Unit tests are core to your work and you strive to avoid regressionsReview code and provide constructive feedback to colleagues About You Minimum 5 years commercial experience as a PHP EngineerCommercial expertise with Laravel or Symfony framework.Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Cloudfront, RDS etc)Working knowledge of ElasticsearchExperience with DevOps tooling (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernentes, Terraform) Back to job search
