Description: SENIOR XERO BOOKKEEPER | INNER CITY SUBURBS| UP TO $80K PKG EXCEPTIONAL ACCOUNTING FIRM BASED IN THE INNER CITY SUBURBS GROWING TEAM WITH PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT EMPLOYER OF CHOICE, EXCELLENT SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES + CULTURE UP TO $80K PKG FULL TIME (POTENTIAL FOR 4 DAYS A WEEK) COMPANY This represents an opportunity with a well established firm based in the Inner City Suburbs of Brisbane who are undergoing a sustained period of growth. This firm is well known in the region for being an employer of choice due to their exceptional culture, low staff turnover, work life balance offered and high quality clients. POSITION Due to growth, the position of Senior Bookkeeper has become available. Main duties will involve: Payroll, BAS preparation, reconciliations, setting up and/or moving clients on various accounting packages, training clients on software packages and other bookkeeping related duties. There will be the opportunity for career progression with this firm. Experience with Xero, MYOB, Handisoft and Quickbooks is highly desirable. This role will require the successful candidate to review the work completed by junior staff. CANDIDATE The ideal applicant will be Xero certified and have 4+ years bookkeeping experience in an Australian Public Practice Accounting firm. Knowledge of most bookkeeping software packages will be highly beneficial. Excellent communication skills are non negotiable as this will be a client facing role. Previous experience managing staff and managing workflow is highly desirable. Please note that my client's preference is for a full time permanent staff member.
