Our regional footprint covers 12 currencies, more than a dozen languages and five time zones, placing us firmly among the region’s leading financial services companies.We are currently recruiting for a junior securitisation analyst to join the Structured Finance Origination segment within our Global Mortgages team. This team is focused on originating and structuring both public and private securitisations backed by a range of asset classes including residential mortgages and commercial and consumer assets. The securitisation & warehouse credit market in Sydney is extremely active and this role will offer the successful applicant a chance to develop their skills and network in this space with a market leading team.Key Duties Perform extensive due diligence on the credit policies and lending guidelines of bank and non-bank lendersAssist in establishing & executing securitisation programs and arrange access to capital markets for banks, corporates and non-bank lendersInteract with law firms, rating agencies, accountants, investors and conduct due diligence and credit and market risk assessmentsExtensive market research into residential property, consumer credit, automotive, equipment and Small and Medium Enterprise(SME) lendingAssist in preparing client pitch books, marketing materials, internal credit papers, analysing risk and modelling structured credit transactionsBackground 1 - 3 years experience within securitisation, structured finance, debt markets, illiquid credit asset classesFinance and/or law related degreeKeen interest in continuing your career in a role which has both a client-facing component and where you will be analysing large sets of complex financial data and producing accurate modelsBe able to clearly articulate complex financial concepts, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, assess and analyse riskDesire to work in a collaborative team environment
