Marrickville Metro is a sub-regional Shopping Centre located in the inner western Sydney suburb of Marrickville, approximately 6 km from Sydney’s CBD. The retail Centre accommodates ALDI, Kmart and Woolworths, two mini majors, 80 specialty traders, 19 kiosks and eight ATMs. The centre is currently under development with the new precinct forecast to open in 2021. The role: Work onsite at Marrickville Metro to provide all necessary financial support, ensuring timely accurate reporting, performing administrative tasks and analysis to allow informed decision making. Participate in monitoring and improving the monthly finance KPI’sMaintain the critical date report for risk/compliance purposesProvide ad hoc project and admin support to all centre management functions as necessaryPerform tenant reconciliations where required to facilitate the reducing of centre debtManage daily cash and cheque banking and gift cards collection from customer serviceManage unapplied cash and credit balances by ensuring the processing of all potential amounts in the Property Information Management System, JD Edwards (JDE here after)Prepare Breach Notices and other arrears correspondence and manage the debt collection processProcess quarterly CPI rent escalations ensuring accuracy and within the head office timetableMaintain Bank Guarantee register The person: Previous property, shopping centre or retail experience will be well regardedIntermediate ability in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPointExperienced in use of property management accounting systemsA tertiary qualification in finance, commerce or accounting is preferred2 years’ experience in finance/AR/administrationResilient and diplomatic with a drive to succeed in all they doPatient, calm, pleasant and solutions oriented Recruitment agencies: please note that we are not seeking assistance on this role.
