Strategy Consultant - Major Australian Bank 2 roles working within the Group Strategy team with focus on Data The CompanyWorking within the Group Strategy area of a major Australian Bank, you'll be part of a young and dynamic team and deal with short, sharp, super impactful projects and provide valuable strategy and advice for senior leadership within the Data and Strategy portfolio.The RoleThis is an exciting time for the business since they are growing rapidly and are looking for 2 strong candidates with consulting backgrounds to play a key role in an agile multi-disciplinary project team focused on driving shareholder and customer value through data.Working in a fast paced and dynamic team you'll specialize in driving data-driven insights for diverse projects across organisation optimisation, network optimisation, business improvement, and opportunity identification.Showing strong drive and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a well-knit team - you'll be responsible for developing specific data and analytical solutions for problems as well as working closely with internal clients to provide advisory services to business leaders for data-driven development of objectives, strategies, and plans.In a highly visible role you'll evaluate pilots and experiments that shape the Bank's thinking as a business and will see you presenting analyses to senior stakeholders and executives.About You 2-4 years' strategy or management consulting experience in a tier 1 consulting firm, strategy boutique, private equity or in industry corporate development role.Experience across a range of Strategy service portfolio including market and industry dynamics assessments, corporate and portfolio strategy, business unit strategy, customer and segment strategy, capability and operating model strategy, and strategy execution servicesExpertise in developing a clear compelling story and deck, leveraging data, market research and independent analysisAbility to analyse and synthesise large amounts of data and information, then develop insights and recommendationsStrong learning orientation with critical thinking, experimenting with new ideas and approach, and keeping up to date with the latest technical developments in data and analytics.Strong focus on customer and commercial outcomes, excellent collaboration skills, able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders, in different parts of the business and at different levels of seniorityGood quantitative background with academic credentials and a degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Machine Learning, Statistics) a big plus!
