Newly renovated Ringwood Smokery is looking for Bar and Restaurant managerThe Firehouse hotel is a modern smokery within an old fire station located in Ringwood.We are a team of passionate hospitality individual aiming to create the best experience for all our guests by bringing the city vibe to the suburb.WE ARE NOW HIRING !!! The Firehouse is an iconic venue in Ringwood and through the covid period the team has worked with passion and dedication to create a unique experience for our guest.- New beer garden (250 pax)- 2 function Spaces (60 pax & 100 pax)- Restaurant (80 pax)Expand you skills, show your potential and advance your career at a faster pace by being part of this journey.With an exceptionally cheerful, positive and enthusiastic team that is always ready to take the extra step to provide a remarkable customer service, help each other and enjoy their job!The Role Floor Manager:To lead & develop their own team and support the Venue Manager with all the general duties of running the venue.Bar Manager:To run up to 3 bars & develop the cocktail list taking care of the beverage ordering and all the other responsibilities of running the venue.Our managers are expected to take ownership, develop their teams and contribute to the global growth of The Firehouse by providing the best hospitality experience.Key areas of responsibility:Lead operations and staff on shift Conduct and take ownership of the general running of the Restaurant / Bar with the Venue ManagerElevate the customer experience from excellent to remarkableDevelop the team through coaching & training Manage inventory and financial side of the venue with the support of the Venue ManagerSkills Proven experience in a management role in the hospitality industry is a MUST.* Vibrant, enthusiastic and cheerful personality* Passion for food & drinks* Great leadership and communication skills* Collaborative attitude, adaptability and the drive to always go a step closer to perfection. If that describes you, please send you cv with a cover letter.
