Part-time Casual Teacher (TAE Scholarship) - Screen & Media - 3D Specialist-000086LG• $83per hour (casual rate)• Opportunities for Teaching professionals at our Western Sydney Region campuses including, Nepean - Kingswood, Penrith, Nirimba, Mount Druitt, Campbelltown, Lidcombe, Blue Mountains. • Teaching qualification scholarships available for suitable applicants YOUR CHANCE TO TRAIN THE NEXT GENERATION TAFE NSW is seeking individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in Education in a School Environment to join our team of teachers on a part time casual basis. We are seeking professionals who share in our values of Customer First, Integrity, Collaboration and Excellence and want to transfer their knowledge and skills to the next generation of industry professionals in the 3D Design, Animation and Rendering sector. We recognise that real experience is the most important aspect when appointing our teaching staff, we know that this experience, your creditability and your story will have a positive impact, to generate the passion needed by our students to see their qualification through. Therefore, we want you to discover the teacher within you. If you don’t have a current certificate IV in Training and Assessment, but you do have a passion and commitment for your industry and relevant and current experience you may be eligible for a scholarship which would provide you with the qualification needed to become a Trainer and Assessor with TAFE NSW. You’ll love this role if you….• Enjoy a hands-on teaching role• Are passionate about 3D design, modelling, texturing and rendering within the screen and media industry and/or gaming industry.• Are flexible and outcome-focussed Reporting to the Head Teacher, Photography and Screen & Media, in this position you will:• provide appropriate variety and flexibility in educational practice;• undertake assessment and evaluation of learning outcomes;• maintain and develop professional relevance and expertise in educational and technical disciplines;• contribute to decision-making that affects the learning environment;• liaise with local industry, other educational providers and the community to ensure that education and training are relevant and responsive to needs;• participate cooperatively in the development and implementation of agreed quality improvement processes by reflecting on experience, their own performance and an evaluation of processes and program outcomes. If you have….• Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in 3D art, design and animation or equivalent.• 2 years post degree or equivalent screen or games industry experience in 3D design, modelling, rendering and texturing and/or animation area.• Evidence demonstrating current and relevant professional and practical experience with link to current showreel and/or portfolio of work.• Demonstrated knowledge within industry level 3D and associated programs, including but not limited to Autodesk Maya and/or Cinema 4D, Adobe Substance, Unity. Experience within AR and/or VR is desirable. • High level written and verbal communication skills in English.• Commitment and ability to facilitate learning in an adult environment.• Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service.• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional currency.• Demonstrated ability to contribute to a team environment.
