Job Description

Working for a Community Based Health Organisation, our client is looking for Project Administration Assistant for a fixed term contract position to start ASAP for 3 months with a possible extension. This role will be to work full time hours based in the clients Hawthorn Office as well as working from home and there would be some off-site work within the local Area. This position is to be part of a wider team and to be part of an exciting project which relates to Covid-19. The project is to work with local community residents, proprietors, and community-based organisations to create a COVIDSAFE Environments and Behaviours, to high-risk Accommodation facilities and ensure responses to Covid-19 outbreaks are timely and connected to existing local services and structures. This role will report into the Project Support Lead and the role provides administration support to the Project and the Operations Team. This role is also to ensure the successful and timely delivery of project outcomes. Some of your core responsibilities will be: General Administration duties for the teamLiaising with external suppliersOrganising meetings and minute takingHandling inbound calls and speaking to internal and external StakeholdersOrganising catering for various eventsOrganise car bookings for various staffOrganizing stationaryPrinting and Scanning To be suitable for this role you must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and be able to showcase your exceptional Administration and Customer Service Skills. You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have an interest and commitment to helping vulnerable community residents. Effective time management and prioritisation skills is key as well as a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word is key. A full drivers' licence is required. There are various background checks that will need to be conducted on you to be successful for this role, and this will be discussed at interview.
