Administration Officer - Medical Records writeAgency('Queensland Health');Queensland Health (Organisation site ( )) The Prince Charles Hospital, Chermside To undertake the efficient and effective delivery of patient record support services for clients of The Prince Charles Hospital. Metro North Hospital and Health Service is the biggest and most diverse Hospital and Health Service in Queensland, delivering the best care by the brightest healthcare professionals.Two of our five hospitals – Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) – are tertiary/quaternary referral hospitals, providing state-wide super specialty services, such as heart and lung transplantation and burns treatment. Redcliffe and Caboolture are major secondary hospitals, and Kilcoy is a regional community hospital.This is your opportunity to join the dedicated team of professionals at Metro North Health and be part of a world-class, dynamic and growing health service that embraces technology, excellence in health care, teaching, research and empowering our people to be the best in serving our community.About the Role Maintain confidentiality whilst accessing secure storage areas of the hospital to retrieve and deliver patient medical records to wards, clinics and other hospital departments.Contribute to the daily operation of the medical records department by providing advice and support to staff as required.Participate and contribute to the department's quality activities supporting Key Performance Indicators for ACHS Accreditation.Provide guidance and support to hospital department staff in HBCIS Medical Record Tracking (MRT) processes.Regularly liaise and coordinate with other hospital departments to ensure medical records are available for all patient appointments throughout the hospital.Operate at the highest level of professionalism in the delivery of patient record services.Plan, prioritise and manage own time to ensure services are provided within strict timeframes seeking direction from supervisors when required.
