Description Armajun Aboriginal Health Service Dentist Permanent , Part-time - Inverell Armajun Aboriginal Health service is looking for a Dentist to work closely with our current Dental team to provide a holistic Dental service to Inverell's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community. Are you looking for a tree change away from the hustle of the city and the pandemic? Are you looking for a climate change? Do you want to hike through the various National Parks to look at the World Heritage surrounds? Do you have several years-experience as a Dentist or just graduating? Do you hold current AHPRA registration? Would you like to become part of a great team providing culturally appropriate Dental and primary health care services to Aboriginal people and communities? Inverell offers an attractive lifestyle including a well serviced and friendly rural community, laid back living, short commuting times, affordable housing, easy access to NSW north coast beaches and larger regional centres, terrific recreational and sporting facilities. To be successful in this position an understanding of the primary health care system and issues relevant to closing the gap in health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples will also be key, including the ability to communicate and appropriately liaise with Aboriginal clients. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage priorities. You will be an adaptable individual who's able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Importantly, Armajun is looking for an honest, compassionate and responsible individual who's values align with that of the organisation. You'll be passionate about the work you do, and keen to work within a multidisciplinary team in order to achieve positive outcomes for the organisation and community.
