Senior Business Analyst – Innovation Delivery Innovation & Partnerships is a trans-Tasman team charged with delivering horizon 2+ innovation on behalf of the NAB group (NAB, BNZ, UBank). The Senior Business Analyst, Innovation is a role at the heart of the innovation process, ensuring that new innovative products are uncovered/discovered, designed and delivered to meet customer need and deliver on the product vision.They will be responsible for delivering high quality analysis and assisting in the designing of solutions to support the end-to-end innovation process - ending in delivery of full scaled propositions.They will work closely with Associate Director Innovations to ensure incubated propositions are implemented to address key design hypotheses, while working with key stakeholders from across the NAB Group to ensure key considerations to scale propositions are clearly understoodThis role is accountable for: Contributing to the defining and developing of innovative solutions which deliver value to customers and business stakeholders, working within the broader Innovation and Partnerships team focused onWorking with our delivery partners to take innovation concepts and turn them into working technical products.Deeply understanding customer, operational, regulatory, and technical considerations relevant to the product, through working with a broad range of stakeholders and subject matter expertsEnsuring that that the functional features are well understood, the linkages, dependencies and outcomes are all effectively catered for so as to avoid unexpected consequences across the businessUndertaking customer analysis and assessing customer understanding through the systemic use of customer metrics and using research and data analysis to assist in the design, prioritisation and delivery of product iterations, enhancements and fixesOperating in a modern, dynamic and agile work environment, managing the collation, assessment, sizing and prioritisation of a backlog for delivery, and working with delivery teams to develop or configure solutionsContributing to financial analysis in order to feed into commercial models and business casesEnsuring fit for purpose documentation is maintained throughout the innovation processWorking collaboratively with other Senior Business Analysts, Innovations to ensure alignment of methodologies across the portfolio of activities The ideal candidate will have: Extensive experience in Financial Services (or equivalent) in relevant business analysis, project or technology delivery environmentSignificant experience in delivery of new digital productsA passion for solving real customer problems, with experience conducting analysis using various methodologies in order to develop insight and recommendations, eliciting business requirements based on business and customer need from quantitative and qualitative dataExperience in conducting/contributing to financial and commercial analysis and business case developmentExperience working within an Agile software development environment and Human Centred designAdvanced analytical skills to assess and contribute to the design of complex software systems and processesAbility to think broadly and draw on personal experience to scope and conduct analysis workAbility to work with structured and unstructured data and perform robust analysis in order to draw insight and drive decision makingOutstanding ability to communicate and manage internal and external stakeholders We're NABWe are proud to have dedicated $55 billion to help address climate change, be recognised as a Gold employer of LGBTI Inclusion by AWEI, endorsed as an employer for Women by Work180, have an African Australian Inclusion Program, Grad Programs, and Traineeship and Internship Programs.
