Opportunity to be part of high profile project Maximum term contract until 28 Feb 2022 Sydney CBD Location Do work that makes a difference This is a hands-on role responsible for testing within a cross-functional mature Agile team, as part of a project to upgrade the Findur application (treasury management system) and its underlying infrastructure. The role requires taking an active part in all test related activities including test automation, providing testing support and maintaining and improving test processes, tooling and outputs, whilst working in a scrum team. You will also: Support coordination and planning of testing activities aimed at minimising risk while achieving high levels of quality Plan and execute testing related deliverables across various test levels that include both functional and non-functional testing, whilst working in an Agile scrum team and actively participating in all Agile ceremonies Design, implement and continue to improve the test automation framework (including the selection of right tool/framework) for the project in line with Agile principles Share testing practices with other areas of the Bank to improve the standards and consistency of testing across the Bank Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, developers and architects to deepen the understanding on requirements and establish the related acceptance criteria Your team You will part of a highly collaborative, diverse team with a great supportive culture. The project has 3 Scrum teams consisting of Testers, BAs and Developers with an overall team size of over 18. Your background We are looking for someone from trading /treasury systems with advanced knowledge and experience across all phases of testing in an Agile environment along with strong experience in automation. To be successful in this role you will possess: Thorough knowledge and prior experience in designing and implementing Automation frameworks especially with vendor products Good understanding and exposure on BDD (Behavioral Driven Development) and CI/CD (Continuous integration/Delivery) concepts Working knowledge of testing tools such as HP ALM (QC, UFT &Performance Centre), JIRA &Zephyr and exposure to a variety of databases, programming languages and operating systems Strong technical documentation/interpretation skills and proven ability to be analytical and work creatively to solve problems along with strong communication, documentation and report writing skills Your development & career Working for an organisation that truly makes a difference to the Australian people, we can offer development and career opportunities in a collaborative environment that supports people’s growth, wellbeing and promotes flexibility.
