To enable this, we are looking for an Executive Assistant to support and facilitate our CEO, someone who preferably has an interest or experience in our industry sector, along with high level administrative and communication skills. The Role: The Executive Assistant is responsible for the smooth running of the office of the CEO, contributes structure and process of interactions so that the CEO office is able to function effectively and make high-quality decisions. It is about being a facilitator and an enabler. Our CEO is expected to hit the ground running every day, and so the Executive Assistants' role is to ensure that she is able to do that. This role plays an active part in organising almost every aspect of life for our CEO and is a balancing act: knowing how and when to deal with issues as well as when to give people access, and ensuring our CEO is adequately briefed and prepared for every meeting she attends. Our CEO is most often dealing with a lot of competing priorities, and so the Executive Assistant must have an understanding of what our CEO does and the importance and nature of the business in order to assist with those priorities. Being constantly flexible and ready to reassess priorities as changes appear in the CEO’s schedule, the Executive Assistant as the first point of contact for the CEO is able to establish where the priorities are. This is a rare opportunity for either a skilled Executive Assistant or Project Administrator from within the sector, or even a recent Psychology graduate with a previous work history offering strong administrative skills who is passionate about working within a dynamic and high-performing organization.
