About the role

Reporting to the Director of Legal – ANZ & EMEA, in this fixed-term contract role you will work as part of a highly respected and commercially focused legal team. Providing your legal expertise to inform commercial decision making, you will work closely with our sales, marketing and supply teams to deliver fast, effective valuable legal solutions and support to TWE’s global business operations. Work will include:

  • Reviewing and negotiating supply and services contracts for TWE’s sales, marketing, supply and procurement business functions in a range of jurisdictions.
  • Compliance review and assessment of a diverse range of marketing and promotional materials.
  • Assisting on M&A and litigation matters as needed.
  • Co-ordinating the use of local and international external legal advisers in relation to these activities, as appropriate.
  • Assisting in the development of policies, procedures and training programmes including delivering regular training sessions to staff on relevant legal issues.
  • About you

    You will have:

  • 3-4 years PQE in private practice and/or in-house legal team with a focus on corporate and commercial law;
  • demonstrated ability to learn quickly, to understand business objectives and provide fast, effective legal solutions to commercial problems;
  • a straight-forward pragmatic approach to your work, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • an ability to exercise judgement and act autonomously as required.
