You will be a hands-on individual looking for diversity in a role. You will be responsible for working and assisting in a variety of areas including the main kitchen, kitchenettes, serveries, bedrooms, dining rooms and laundry & cleaning areas.In this role you will be required to work a variety of day and evening shifts including weekend shifts.About youYou are an enthusiastic reliable worker who enjoys being a team player and yet can work autonomously. You have compassion for the elderly and are passionate about maintaining an environment suitable to their needs.Ideally you will have:Certificate II in Cleaning Operations and/or Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar is desirable;Current National Police Certificate;Experience in working in kitchens, preferably within the Aged Care industry;Experience in operating equipment associated with cleaning and laundry;Willingness to work a variety of shifts across a 7 day week.Please note, all employees working within our residential and community aged care will need to be immunised for Influenza from 01/05/2020.
