Job Description

Cradle Mountain Hotel is nestled in the alpine woodlands at the northern end of the breathtaking Cradle Mountain – Lake St Clair National Park. This wonderful escape showcases the absolute best this region has to offer with warm and welcoming hospitality, sensational local food and wine, indulgent spa facilities and breathtaking scenery. Located approximately 1 hour from Burnie or Devonport, our 60 room hotel also incorporates the award-winning Altitude restaurant and stunning Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery.

About the role:

We’re looking for a skilled handy person who can turn their hand to many tasks and support the Cradle Mountain Hotel maintenance team. This role is key to providing exceptional property, facility maintenance and routine repair work.

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Ensure facilities are presented in the best possible standard.
• Undertake maintenance tasks as part of Essential Safety Maintenance Program.
• Undertake routine repair work and preventative maintenance for all buildings, plants and equipment.
• Undertake porterage duties, as required.
• Liaise with departments to ensure efficient completion of maintenance tasks.

You must hold a current C class drivers licence (car).
