Our purpose is to provide simple, authentic member owned banking, that helps our members and communities be better off and to do this, we want to keep investing in our staff to build the capability of those who directly connect to our members.       What's Involved We are recruiting for proactive and enthusiastic Sales and Service Consultants to join our team in providing our members with great service, care and commitment to making their banking experience better.  Our contact centre will suit those who enjoy the challenge of working in a fast paced customer interactive environment and being the first point of contact with our members assisting with their everyday banking needs.          Attending to inbound enquiries over the phone, handling and resolving customer requests and complaints effectively Identifying and converting new product and service opportunities that meet member needs Enhancing member relationships with superior customer service Working within policy and industry guidelines and regulations Collaboratively working within a team to support each other and achieve team goals and objectives.   What you will need A genuine passion for helping people and delivering a professional service  Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Experience in a sales and service environment The ability to have conversations to identify customer needs and assist them with appropriate solutions, services and 3rd party products. The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a calm and structured manner A desire to take ownership of problems and work through them to achieve win-win outcomes Experience in using computers and apps with the confidence and ability to navigate between systems, with fast and accurate keyboard skills The personality and flexibility to work with a diverse group of people and contribute to team success.   IMB?s contact centre hours of operation are from Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 8.00 pm and Saturday 9.00 am - 4.00 pm.  As such all of our staff work on a rostered basis to cover this span of hours and the successful person must be able to commit to these hours.          Currently undergoing a range of transformational initiatives and projects, IMB has an agenda of growth and continuous improvement providing opportunities for skill development in a culture that is dynamic, genuinely supportive, and committed to the safety and wellbeing of its people.  Additionally IMB offers: A newly constructed head office building with modern and fresh facilities Competitive remuneration and various product concessions A commitment to Diversity and Inclusion with flexible working options available.   Apply now and let IMB inspire your future.   Applications close March, 2021.  For more information contact Cheryl Barnett, Team Leader Please apply online as emailed applications are unable to be accepted.
