<p>Soil Conservation Service, a commercial entity within <a href="https://www.lls.nsw.gov.au/">Local Land Services</a> is looking for an experienced leader to take on the role of Director, Soil Conservation Service Operations.</p><p> </p><ul><li>Lead regional delivery in a highly successful commercial consulting business</li><li>Full-time ongoing role</li><li>Role located in either Armidale, Coffs Harbour, Dubbo, Queanbeyan or other regional location</li><li>TRP starting from $201,485 including superannuation</li></ul><p> </p><p>As the Director Soil Conservation Service Operations, you will report to the Executive Director Soil Conservation Service. In this newly created role, you will lead regional delivery in a highly successful commercial consulting business which provides end to end services in environmental consulting, conservation earthworks, program management and project delivery.</p><p> </p><p>You will be accountable for ensuring high-level operational, financial, people leadership (approximately 7 direct reports), business development and client engagement results including the delivery of projects on time, on budget and to client specifications.</p><p> </p><p>You will be responsible for quality, safety and environmental outcomes at regional level, consistent with externally accredited quality, safety and environmental systems.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>To be successful within this role you will have an extensive background in successfully managing a commercial operation in the public, private or Not-for-profit sector, including the management of substantial projects and contracts with an appreciation of issues relating to rural and regional NSW.</p><p> </p><p>You’ll demonstrate high levels of integrity and accountability, excellent communication skills, a successful track record of delivery and collaboration, and relevant experience managing and developing people and leading change.</p><p> </p><p>Your adaptive leadership style will enable you to build capability within your team by empowering individuals and driving cultural change, creating a diverse and caring work environment.</p><p> </p><p><a href="https://youtu.be/gSp6HlsTeNA"><strong>Why work for the Soil Conservation Service?</strong></a></p><p>Soil Conservation Service is a commercial entity within <a href="https://www.lls.nsw.gov.au/">Local Land Services</a>.
