  • ABOUT THE COMPANY. Join a reputable Local Council located on the South Coast of NSW as a Senior Traffic Engineer/Transport Planner on an initial 3 month contract. Join a team of 5 and play a pivotal role within the highly collaborative and positive team environment. ABOUT THE POSITION.
    As a Senior Traffic Engineer/Transport Planner you will be reporting to the Team Leader. You will assist the team by delivering a variety of projects as well as initiating strategies, plans and scopes for capital works projects in areas of active transport, traffic management and road safety. DUTIES.
  • Participating on traffic and active transport committees
  • Providing specialist advice to internal and external customers
  • Assist with strategic and integrated traffic and transport planning
  • Investigate and implement traffic and parking initiatives
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Degree qualifications relating to Traffic/Transport Engineering or Planning
  • Strong traffic management and strategic thinking skills
  • High level research, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team and autonomously
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • CULTURE.
