Job Description

Appointments may be made from this pool until 34/04/2023. Position Profile: We are currently seeking to recruit Registered Nurses to our 8 bed Intensive Care Unit. The Bunbury ICU is a level one facility progressing to a level two unit attached to the largest Emergency Department in country WA. Complex patient care consists of sepsis and multi-organ failure, post-operative stabilisation, acute kidney failure including filtration, toxicology, espiratory failure and a small component of maternity complications. Opportunities exist for current High Dependency Level nurses to upskill within the unit, supported by our strong staff development team, to achieve ICU level care competencies.Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area.
