Job Description

This opportunity: Our residential services site, located at Marion are currently seeking an Assistant Coordinator Housekeeping Services to assist in leading a team of resident focused professionals. This is an opportunity to join a caring and supportive environment, and make a difference to the quality of care we deliver to our Resthaven residents. If you are looking for a long-term career opportunity that is rewarding, then this is the role for you!This is a permanent part time opportunity, 6 shifts a fortnight, 10am - 10:30am starts, no weekends.A little more about the role:You will assist the Coordinator Housekeeping Services to perfom the below tasks Reporting to the Coordinator Housekeeping Services, ensuring a quality housekeeping service is provided to residents by developing and monitoring work practice standards that focus on quality outcomes and continuous improvementEnsuring the provision of meals and kitchen standards in consultation with the catering staffParticipating in the development of your sites budget requests and monitoring expenditureManaging cleaning standards across facilityManaging your rescoures efficientlyEnsuring current knowledge of legislation, work practice and contemporary housekeeping practices About you: Experience in the coordination of hospitality servicesProven ability to coordinate the activities of a range of staffKnowledge and experience with food safety legislationThe ability to work effectively under pressure and to be flexible to satisfy competing demandsExperience in stock control and in ordering stockPrevious experience in managing housekeeping services in the aged care sector or hospitality industry is preferred The benefits to you: Access to salary packaging to increase your take home payTailored and specific induction and training provided for those new to aged careFour free physiotherapy treatments per financial yearAccess to a professional development fund to support your learning journeyOpportunity for career progression in a large, multi service organisationBe part of a richly diverse and inclusive community where everyone's uniqueness is valued Enquiries welcome to Sarah Crickmar, Recruitment Business Partner, sarah.crickmar@resthaven.asn.au
