Job DescriptionTerritory Sales Manager, Victoria - Gippsland, Animal HealthTHE OPPORTUNITYGreat opportunity to join a Global Animal Health organisationExciting Permanent Full-Time role based in the Gippsland region in Eastern VictoriaManage a large and diverse territory covering Beef, Sheep and DairyUse your technical sales expertise to engage with customers about our large ruminant product rangeOur Territory Representatives interact face to face with our customers, understand their needs and consult to offer the right solutions. We work collaboratively in Field Sales Teams and play a critical role in supporting our customer centric business model.As a Territory Manager for Victoria (VIC Gippsland), you will be responsible for building and growing your territory for a large ruminant product portfolio to end users and local rural resellers. This is a large and diverse territory that includes Beef, Sheep and Dairy operations. WHAT YOU WILL DOResponsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:Achieve sales targets and activity levels for assigned territory and productsDevelop and implement territory plans to achieve sales targets, regularly revising activity against achievementBuild and maintain effective working relationships with customers and clientsUtilise Technical Advisors within territory to influence customers and clients to assist in delivery of technical messaging and drive salesIdentify customer needs and clearly communicate how our Company’s Animal Health products and services can provide solutions and treatment optionsProvide technical and sales training activities to distributors/partners to ensure proper messaging is being transferred to the end userEnsure product complaint investigation, pricing queries, compliance issues and follow up requests are executed appropriately and within required timelinesProvide corporate sales presentations to relevant consumer groups, customers & distributorsRecord customer interactions & regularly analyse customer data through Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to assist with territory, customer and pre-call planning, and the identification and targeting of high value customersMaintain a high level of product knowledge of own Company’s as well as competitor productsEnsure effective communication across the sales and marketing team, share knowledge and participate positively in sales team meetings and marketing-initiated forumsEnsure all business activity complies with all relevant Acts, policies and proceduresWHAT YOU MUST HAVEYou may be an experienced Territory or Account Manager with a proven track record of sales delivery, looking to align yourself with one of the world's leading healthcare companies renowned for its ethics and integrity, industry leading sales training and product pipeline.Alternatively, you may be a recent graduate with sales and/or agriculture experience looking to forge a career as a Territory Manager.You will ideally have:Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Science related fieldPrevious sales experience in a technical selling environmentHighly developed skills in negotiating, influencing, and establishing collaborative relationshipsHigh level of accountability and business acumen to successfully manage and develop your territoryGood understanding of local farming practicesIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other technologies (e.g iPads)Ability to build long term relationshipsAbility to convey technical information in a manner easily understoodHigh level of flexibility and resilienceWHAT YOU CAN EXPECTJoin a global organisation that prides itself on high integrity, ethics and qualityWork along with a passionate and collaborative teamOpportunity to develop and broaden your selling experience in Ruminant within a truly global organisationOur Animal Health division is a trusted global leader in veterinary medicine, dedicated to the health and well-being of animals.
