We are looking for a motivated individuals driven by the desire to achieve in a high technology industry, someone who will embrace our company’s values and is willing to innovate.Responsibilities General knowledge of the design process, configuration control, materials and processesProvision of effective and timely advice as requested from managers and engineering personnelGood understanding of structural requirements and their verification and validationCollaborates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environmentGuides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis toolsSupports in-service products by investigating failures and analysing improvementsAssists in developing processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effortExperience/Qualifications Tertiary qualification within Engineering is essentialKnowledge of airworthiness requirements and design standardsStrong verbal and written communications skillsGood general knowledge of aircraft structuresDemonstrated ability in mathematical reasoningAbility to collaborate and support in a team oriented environmentKnowledge and experience with CATIA V5/V6 and FEM is highly desirablePlease note that applicants must be Australian Citizens in order to meet Defence security clearance requirements.
