The opportunity Support our Risk & Compliance team in achieving their strategic objectives in your new role as the Risk & Governance Specialist. You will work within a small, dedicated team and liaise with various stakeholders to implement AIA’s risk framework for identifying, monitoring, and mitigating risks. As a first-line risk representative, you will need to utilize your relevant experience for success. To do this successfully you will: Assist with third party administration reviews, reports, and planning Liaise with key stakeholders to support the delivery of Risk & Compliance plans and manage risks within the life insurance unit Develop, implement, and test controls for effectiveness Monitor risk profiles to identify, understand, investigate, and report on business activities Conduct root cause analyses of issues and incidents Successful applications will demonstrate: Tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, or analytics desired Proven experience with controlling risks in a financial service environment like accounting, banking, regulation, or management consultancy desired Demonstratable experience in audit or risk analysis functions in a life insurance environment considered Sound understanding of risk and business delivery Strong knowledge of Risk & Compliance frameworks, methodologies, and approaches Why choose AIA: Access our training and development to build on your current skills Career development through internal mobility opportunities Work for a business helping millions of Australian’s and make a difference to someone’s life every day Access additional leave days a year to recharge and refresh yourself Enjoy wonderful Health and Wellbeing initiatives that support you Work with supportive and inclusive managers Flexible working arrangements What’s next?
