Pharmacist Advanced - Team Leader (Medical) writeAgency('Queensland Health');Queensland Health (Organisation site ( )) Redcliffe Hospital Provide specialised Clinical Pharmacy services, professional leadership and operational management to the Specialist Pharmacy work unit and associated multidisciplinary team within Redcliffe Hospital and other facilities throughout Metro North Hospital and Health Service and to stakeholders and customers of Queensland Health in accordance with organisational goals. Metro North Hospital and Health Service is the biggest and most diverse Hospital and Health Service in Queensland, delivering the best care by the brightest healthcare professionals.Two of our five hospitals – Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) – are tertiary/quaternary referral hospitals, providing state-wide super specialty services, such as heart and lung transplantation and burns treatment. Redcliffe and Caboolture are major secondary hospitals, and Kilcoy is a regional community hospital.This is your opportunity to join the dedicated team of professionals at Metro North Health and be part of a world-class, dynamic and growing health service that embraces technology, excellence in health care, teaching, research and empowering our people to be the best in serving our community.About the Role Deliver specialist Clinical Pharmacy services, providing expert clinical knowledge, advice, professional judgement and leadership in critical clinical problem solving.Provide and be individually accountable for advanced complex clinical decision making through high level knowledge and interpretation of evidence based practice within a complex and critical specialty service.Provide professional leadership, judgement and advice in the development and improvement of advanced clinical practices, quality improvement activities, medicines protocols, policies and procedures as part of the multidisciplinary team and lead the implementation of Pharmacy-related change initiatives to achieve identified outcomes.Provide specialist clinical advice and judgement to line management and other relevant multidisciplinary team Managers on the development, implementation, monitoring and review of complex Clinical Pharmacy Services, Professional Standards and Departmental Policies and Procedures.Manage the designated clinical workload of the Pharmacy work unit including operational management and resource allocation, prioritising tasks within set broad guidelines that meet departmental, legislative, SHPA and ‘Pharmaceutical Review' requirements for clinical pharmacy services.
