The RoleThe position of Financial Accountant enjoys a great relationship with multiple stakeholders across the business locally and internationally. There will be significant investment into this position in respect to mentorship and a clear pathway for promotion in 12-18 months to Senior Financial Accountant.The role has the following key duties and responsibilities: Month end, quarter end, year end reporting General and special purpose reportingBe the technical subject matter expert for all internal financial reporting mattersWork closely with the external Big 4 audit and tax teamsAssist with control-based testingSeek continuous improvement of financial accounting processes to enable the delivery of an efficient and stream-lined service, documenting changes to processes and procedures.Produce KPI Management reporting, analysis, and commentary on performance.Timely analysis of ad-hoc and monthly financial information/reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller.Ad-hoc duties and projectsExperience Required:We are looking to speak to part or fully qualified Chartered Accountants with 2-4 years' experience in Audit or Business Services - ideally from a Top 100 Australian public accounting firm and a strong understanding of the application of technical accounting standards such as IFRS15 and IFRS16.In addition, you will have defined Excel skills (Pivot Tables, v-lookups) and have a driven, resilient and proactive personality.On Offer:A permanent position with defined career growthA salary of $80,000 + SuperThe mentorship and support of a fantastic Finance Director Drive in Central Coast NSW location
