A rare opportunity has opened up for a Social Media Account Manager at DEC PR!We’re looking for someone with min. 3-5 years in a client-facing social and digital media role, encompassing community moderation and management, strategy and everything in between.The successful applicant will join the talented #DECstars in our Sydney HQ and manage key social media accounts across our client portfolio, with expertise in automotive, FMCG, property and tech looked upon favourably.THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE:Community Management: Management of highly engaged and passionate social community, including proactive engagement and customer service. The successful applicant needs to be a confident and empathetic communicator, with the ability to craft clever, and grammatically complete responses. This role suits someone who has strong attention to detail and who is highly self-motivated to follow up regularly on behalf of the customer and seek to provide the best customer experience, from asking questions to going above and beyond for the best resolution on complaints and queries. Community management requirements are 7-days, with approximately 2-3hrs required weekdays, and 30mins per day weekends (some flexibility can be organised here). Content Scheduling: The successful applicant will be required to schedule supplied content monthly as well as on an adhoc basis day-to-day (approx 40 posts across 2x channels per month). They should have a great general knowledge on content requirements/specs and the best post types for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn as well as a confident user of Sprout Social and Facebook Creator Studio. Paid Media: The successful applicant should have a demonstrated ability in paid media management, including creating audiences and optimising ad units to reach ambitious KPIs with limited budgets, across Facebook/Instagram and LinkedIn. This person will be responsible for brand/engagement media only. Reporting & Analytics: Utilising Sprout Social and Facebook Insights, one monthly report and two weekly reports are shared. Compiling these requires the applicant to have a good general knowledge of these platforms, as well as some strategic/content insight and strong attention to detail. Strategic direction: Work closely with the team and client to refine and implement a robust strategic direction for social media. Maintain ongoing communication with all agencies to ensure content and activity aligns with the strategic approach.Interested to hear more?
