Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is a unique cross-border public health service and the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne. We support an outer catchment population of 250,000 throughout North-East VIC and Southern NSW, with a dedicated team of over 2,500 staff. We are a dynamic organisation undergoing significant growth, with plans for new Emergency and Mental Health facilities underway.The Opportunity An outstanding opportunity exists for Rehabilitation Medicine Registrar to work at Albury Wodonga Health for 6 or 12 month of the 2021 Clinical Year. This is an accredited position but we would welcome applications from those with a genuine passion to work within the sub-acute sector but who are yet to enter specialist training.We encourage applicants who either have a long-term goal of regionally based Specialist practice or have a desire to have a constant one-on-one training program geared to assist the candidate to pass their examinations. A good understanding of the unique demands of rural or regional health will be highly regarded although the post does also offer the successful candidate to learn about these demands.
