Brilliant team of Occupational Therapist great opportunity for innovative clinician extraordinary support and team dynamic SECU is a 50 bedded unit that looks after complex patients needing specialised care and support, offering rehabilitation, assessment, formulation and treatment option. Senior OT to support the service and junior staff Play an key role in the supporting the efficient and precise clinical outcomes Enviable Professional and Leadership development opportunities available About SECU Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 18,000 people across a range of specialities. Monash Health Emergency Departments treat over 150,000 emergency patients a year at Monash Medical Centre Clayton campus, Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital. Patients have access to a full range of treatment options, including intensive care. About The Role We are excited to announce senior OT position within SECU: Dandenong Hospital In these senior OT role, OT will work closely with the Service manager and Nurse Manager to ensure the provision of safe and effective care as well as assist with the efficient management of patients and support of junior staff is done. The OT will also play an integral role in supporting staff and managing patient flow in order to optimise timeliness of care. This is a full-time ongoing role, working a 9 -5 structure, Monday to Friday. About You You have been developing your management and leadership skills or you are an accomplished OT; either way, you are ready to take this next step in your Career. You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic, rehabilitative model of care and patient focused and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence based care to all patients. You are an advocate of Monash Health's Strategic Guiding Principles What You Need Relevant Qualification (aligned to position description) Demonstrated experience (aligned to position description noting no reference to years of experience) Current AHPRA registration Include any other mandatory/required skills or licenses Australian working rights What We Offer access to Monash Health in-house learning portals to further expand your acute clinical skills & knowledge base avenues to further develop your leadership & project management skills mentorship & career guidance support to attend relevant forums & conferences a supportive learning environment, should you wish to undertake postgraduate studies
