If you are a dedicated and experienced retail manager who has been waiting for an opportunity to use your skills to make your mark - the wait is over!!!An opportunity exists to join Australia's number one destination for affordable pre-loved items - Vinnies shops.As the Retail Manager of a Vinnies' store, you will use your retail and merchandising skills to lead the next stage of its development. Join our vibrant and engaged team of regional retail centre managers, who use their initiative and retail acumen every day to maximise the success of their store. This is a one-off opportunity to see the results of your own endeavours in your own store.At Vinnies, our retailers are encouraged to bring their unique skillset to work and create an operation that reflects their commitment and drive. Imagine a role where YOU select the stock, and YOU set the prices. This is your opportunity to get in to the rapidly expanding pre-loved retail sector. And the best part? One hundred per cent of our profits are used to fund good works and support people in need across the region. About You:You have a solid background in retail with very strong merchandising skills. You have a sharp eye that will help select and price the best of donations for resale. You are organised, self-motivated and able to engage and motivate a team of volunteers. Your customer relations skills must be impeccable, as you deal with our customers, volunteers and donors on a daily basis. You are physically fit to undertake this fast-paced physical job.In return, we will offer you a competitive, above award, salary rate and conditions, including superannuation at 11% and a generous salary sacrificing package.
