Position Description: SAP Concur is seeking a sales professional to create opportunities for add on business, system expansion and additional services from within our existing client base and drive them through to a successful outcome. The role entails a broad range of sales activities including telephone and web-ex meetings, face to face customer interaction and partner relationships combined with insights based, consultative and transactional sales capabilities. The Client Development representative reports to the Regional Sales Director. Moderate travel may be required. Responsibilities: Achieve sales objectives through sales to current customers Proactively call into accounts by utilizing and maintaining our corporate database Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow-up, networking and partner relationships Overcome objections and effectively communicate the SAP Concur value propositions to key decision makers regarding appropriate Concur product offerings Build and maintain strong relationship with sales team and supporting resources through clear communication and follow-up Maintain up-to-date and extensive knowledge of all SAP Concur product offerings Stay current on industry trends and maintain extensive knowledge of competitor’s product offerings Achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets set by sales strategy team Responsible for working autonomously and using available resources and internal stakeholders to problem solve Be aware of, and comply with all corporate policies Job Specific Knowledge & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in sales, phone-based lead generation, marketing or business 3+ years of experience in phone-based lead generation, inside sales and/or business development activities Ability to pass a background check Strong written and verbal communication required Highly motivated, enthusiastic, outgoing, and strong work ethic Strong business acumen Must be a team player with strong initiative, excellent PC skills and ability to quickly build extensive knowledge of SAP Concur product offerings and that of competitors Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion and influence Excellent PC and Internet skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, salesforce automations tools Value Competencies: Business Acumen/Strategic Business Perspective – demonstrates business/marketplace knowledge (policies, practices, trends, etc.) Client Value Creation – demonstrates concern for meeting internal and external clients’ needs in a manner that provides satisfaction and excellent results for the client Influence – uses appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to influence internal and external clients, enhancing Concurs financial success Interpersonal – builds and maintains trusting relationships with associates and clients Change Management – initiates, manages or participates in the change process and energizes it on an ongoing basis, taking steps to remove barriers and accelerate its pace Personal/ Professional Effectiveness – demonstrates ability to be self-directed and self-motivated Intelligence – acquires understanding and absorbs new information rapidly Planning and Organizing – optimizes use of time and resources to achieve desired results Accountability – holds self and others accountable for results Displays leadership through innovation in everything you do Displays a passion for what you do and a drive to improve Displays a relentless commitment to win Displays personal & corporate integrity EEO:SAP Concur is an Equal Opportunity Employer and applies this policy to all applicants and employees.
