As the Head of Credit and Collections - Enterprise, Government & Wholesale at Vocus you will be responsible for maximising the revenue of the organisation through the effective management of the credit risk and collections function for our Enterprise, Government & Wholesale Divisions (Vocus Network Services). You’ll derive commercial, business and strategic insights across various portfolios that will improve collections performance to achieve relevant KPI’s.

This is a hands-on sleeves up role, and one that is critical in supporting our Vocus Network Services team in meeting its strategic objectives.

What you’ll be doing day to day

Establish credit risk controls and policies and work with stakeholders to implement these to improve collections performance.
Lead the team and drive the collections strategy for Enterprise, Government & Wholesale by providing expert analysis of all collection portfolios.
Deliver performance in line with budgeted targets.
Engage with various stakeholders such as legal, divisional managers to ensure maximisation of recoveries and revenue across the collection portfolio.
Build effective relationships with Enterprise, Government & Wholesale business units to support resolution of customer issues.
Manage all key client relationships and provide appropriate advice on all collection’s matters.
Work with relevant internal and external business partners to manage development activities and monitor impacts.
Establish and facilitate governance of Credit and collection risk forum with divisional executives and legal counterparts.
Document existing processes and manage risk and improvement roadmap whilst ensuring compliance.
Deliver best in industry solutions and customer experience.
Creation and maintenance of performance dashboards and scorecards across the brands.

What you’ll need to be successful

Significant experience within the Collections industry and a strong demonstrable knowledge of the legal process.
Extensive experience and understanding of Wholesale / Enterprise Credit Risk exposure and mitigants.
Excellent analytical and presentation skills to effectively communicate performance.
Deep understanding of the complexities of managing high value / high risk accounts across varied industries.
Detailed understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements within telecommuncations.
Be someone who is excellent at building and managing internal relationships across multiple teams.
