What’s the opportunity?

The objectives of this role are as follows:
Provide day-to-day operational support for voice infrastructure and services.
Perform duties within a team environment in an effective manner.
Ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
Ensure that required operational metrics and SLAs are achieved.
Perform as an escalation point for customer faults.
What you’ll be doing:

The duties and responsibilities of this role are as follows:
Provide day-to-day operational support for voice infrastructure and services.
Provide escalated technical support, troubleshooting and fault rectification of high level technical issues related to Unified Communications
Provide a timely, complete and accurate response to requests, tickets and faults.
Ensure all voice and customer service documentation is current and accurate.
Operational & Engineering project work as directed.
Provide high quality knowledge sharing within the team.
Ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
Provide ongoing feedback on ways to improve process and procedure.
Maintain a safe work environment and comply with relevant safety requirements.
Participate in a 24/7 on call roster as required.
Assist in other duties as required.

Demonstrable fit with the Vocus culture.
Demonstrable working level of technical expertise in a Unified Communications environment
Demonstrable working level of technical expertise in IP Voice Signalling Protocols
Demonstrable working level of technical expertise with IP Networking.
Demonstrable problem solving skills with Voice Technologies.
Demonstrable reporting and written skills.
Excellent organisational skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
The desirable knowledge, skills and experience required for this role is as follows:
Demonstrable high level of technical expertise with Broadworks.
Demonstrable high level of technical expertise with SBC
Demonstrable high level of technical expertise with IP Voice Signalling Protocols.
Demonstrable technical expertise working in a Linux environment
Experience with TDM based voice technologies.
