About The Care HomeBupa Pottsville Beach is a modern care home set in a peaceful holiday village, just a short walk to the local beaches. The home offers residential, respite and specialised dementia care across 151 beds in the home. Our primary is goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents. About The Role Working as part of a team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals, you will manage 60 beds in this care home, supporting the General Manager in leading the clinical aspects and governance of the care home. You will be required to oversee ACFI, care planning, risk assessments, infection control and case conferences. Duties Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care homeSupport and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and educationReview clinical incidents, complaints and changesReview, monitor and investigate risksLead compliance with ACFI assessmentsManage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents. Including case conferencing with families and carersPrepare and conduct clinical governance audits.Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirementsLiaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care Skills and Experience Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essentialPost grad qualification in aged care highly regardedCurrent AHPRA is essentialExperience managing a minimum of bedsProven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute settingExcellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilitiesHighly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skillsAn understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes CultureEmployees boast about the supportive and professional working environment within our home.
