About the role:

We are delighted to announce that we are inviting applications for the fresh new career opportunity of Experienced or Trainee MMU operator.

Based at our Deer Park site, the Operator will form part of a well-oiled, united, highly performing and supportive team of female and male Blasting Professionals.

Our Blast crews visit a range of our client's Quarry & Construction and mine sites all over the state, to load, charge and fire blasts which allow our clients access to their commodities.

What you will be doing (once fully trained):
• Operating our MMU vehicle (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and other associated blasting plant and machinery;
• Assisting with preventative maintenance;
• Assist with the 'hands-on' delivery of explosive products down pre-drilled blast holes on bench;
• Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide a excellence in service to our valued customers;
• Demonstrating and setting the example of our key company value: 'Safety is our Priority, Always';
• At all times acting with integrity and respect.

What you bring:
• A current Heavy Rigid (HR) drivers licence, or the ability to gain this prior to your commencement;
• Ability to pass all required security checks in which to obtain a Dangerous Goods licence;
• An excellent, positive and team based attitude where you look out for your mates;
• A basic mechanical comprehension is advantageous, but not essential.

What you bring:
• A current Heavy Rigid (HR) drivers licence, or the ability to gain this prior to your commencement;
• Ability to pass all required security checks in which to obtain a Dangerous Goods licence;
• An excellent, positive and team based attitude where you look out for your mates;
• A basic mechanical comprehension is advantageous, but not essential.
