Job Description

This is an exciting role that resides in our Work Force Strategies (WFS) team within Mercer Marsh Benefits. The Principal role is crucial to the practice development, by leading a team of up to 10 Workers Compensation Consultants to provide clients with strategic and operational solutions to their worker’s compensation and health and safety needs through the design, development and implementation of structured workers comp and injury management programs.

Develop team members through coaching and mentoring
Bring initiatives to grow the practice
Provide clients, brokers, and new business prospects with structured solutions to their enterprise risk, worker’s compensation and OHS problems
Produce consulting and sales targets as defined in the annual business plan and guidelines set
Manage key accounts as designated by the Managing Principal/National Manager
Participate in the development of new business for the consulting practice and undertake management of selected key accounts
Adhere to all established business processes in the achievement of revenue targets
What you need to have:

Tertiary degree in any relevant field (desirable)
Thorough knowledge and experience within a similar role
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Interpersonal and leadership skills for the purposes of coaching, mentoring and interacting with clients and colleagues
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and quality management
