About the Role:
Reporting to the Team Manager, the Superannuation Administrator will work in the Pooled Funds space, predominantly across Pensions and Benefits, and is responsible for processing a range of superannuation administration functions and maintaining details, in accordance with legislation, fund rules and agreed service standards. You will also ensure that responsive, accurate and timely information is provided to stakeholders.
Conduct thorough investigation to resolve exceptions, and gather information to assist with the management of escalations, breaches and complaints in a timely manner, and in line with Mercer’s business processes.
Maintain appropriate records systems to ensure the accurate, timely and safe storage of information; maintain appropriate confidentiality and privacy regarding all records at all times.
Prepare written correspondence that is well-structured, easy to follow, and consistent with corporate policies and communication protocols.
Adopt a team approach to ensure all tasks are completed accurately in accordance with relevant service standards
Actively contribute to a positive, productive and cooperative working environment
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, scheme rules, processes and practices
You are a proficient administrator with experience in superannuation, pooled funds knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential! You have a good working knowledge of Excel and impeccable communication skills combined with an analytical mindset where you question and look beyond what’s in front of you. You are willing to learn and become involved, enjoy a challenge and want to be part of a close-knit, supportive team that have regular team building activities and lunches.
