What can you expect?
JLT form part of Marsh & McLennan Companies and provide services of Fund Administration Agent (FAA) to the Tasmanian Risk Management Fund (the Fund). The Department of Treasury and Finance (the Department) administers the Fund to provide a whole-of-government approach to funding and managing the insurable liabilities of inner Budget agencies. Our team delivers services to the Fund and its Agencies through Executive account stewardship by the Senior Management Team and proactive management of claims, facilitated by our in-house Claims Management Team.
JLT/ MMC is seeking an experienced General Claims Consultant with demonstrated experience and strong understanding of claims management principles and best practice claims procedures, preferably within an insurance environment. Applicants with General Claims and/or General Insurance experience in either an insurer or broking environment would be well considered.

Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in General Insurance;
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
