We are currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to join the Corporate Team in Canberra. The team specialise in the provision of insurance assisting with existing policy holders and new business quotes.
Their primary focus is providing customer service and portfolio management and assistance to both new and existing clients, whilst developing new relationships (internal & external) to achieve growth in line with Practice budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for client retention and revenue growth targets on own client portfolio.
Develop new business opportunities through the existing client base, as well as through internal relationships within the broader team.
Manage administrative responsibilities of their portfolio through accurate, efficient and timely production of all policy and related documentation, including system client noting and electronic filing of all documents
Analyse claims data, produce reports, and assist with claims management and negotiations.
Address day to day client queries and keep clients informed of emerging trends and new products
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the core aspects of relevant Insurance and related legislation
Assist senior brokers with the development and implementation of risk management and insurance programs and assist with building effective long term relationships with key client decision makers through exceptional customer service, meetings and regular communication.
Assist with the implementation of renewal and broking strategies in accordance with instructions received from the ACT Corporate Leader/Managing Principal, including negotiations with Insurers.
Experience
General insurance experience of no less than 5 years
Tier 1 FSRA qualified essential
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong knowledge and application of broking principles, client reports/proposals and renewals
Dedicated to quality in all aspects of your work performance and client service with a passion for customer service
A team player who naturally maintains solid working relations with colleagues, external clients and broader industry market segments.
