About the Job
As our team continues to grow, we are looking for an additional Procurement Specialist, your role will be to partner with the business as we continue develop our vendor sourcing and governance framework. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Procurement, you will work at an enterprise level with our Senior Leadership Team to manage vendor selection, contract negotiation, vendor management, governance and oversight practices.

This is an ideal role for an experience Procurement professional looking for an autonomous role where they can use their experience to implement best practice and drive outstanding business outcomes.


Key responsibilities include:

Support the design and implementation of the strategic sourcing and procurement governance framework and associated policies and procedures. This includes:
The whole of life vendor management governance framework, including business case, procurement, vendor selection and management oversight accountabilities.
Review and update of vendor management policies, including the Rest outsourcing policy.
Establishment of a vendor management RACI and application to all existing third-party arrangements across Rest
Design, documentation and implementation of the whole of life vendor management process

Establish, maintain and review a Rest supplier database and associated system for active vendor management
Review and collate existing supplier contracts and SLAs into a single database
Identify opportunities for 3rd party vendor efficiencies
Develop online and face to face training on Rest outsourcing, procurement and vendor management practices and obligations

Partner closely with the business to maintain and monitor Rest’s procurement governance framework:
Facilitate the RFP and procurement processes
Lead contract negotiation and execution activities.
Support business awareness of material outsourcing obligations
Monitor and oversight 3rd party SLA reporting, compliance and contract renewals across the business
Undertake regular reporting to senior management

Ensure compliance obligations and vendor management standards are met:
Work with the risk and compliance team to maintain a 3rd party supplier compliance plan
Ensure appropriate data security controls and DR plans are maintained by 3rd party vendors consistent with legislative obligations and Rest requirements.


About You:
Demonstrated procurement and contract management subject matter expertise
Understanding of the regulatory and compliance obligations that accompany outsourcing arrangements
Procurement experience within financial services industry, highly regarded
Experience supporting in developing, implementing and managing vendor sourcing and governance frameworks.
Proven experience partnering with the business on contract negotiation and procurement activities including, but not limited to, business case development, RFP design, vendor selection, contract negotiation and execution.
Proven contract negotiation/contract management experience
Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks
